ORGANISER
I am very pleased that the Slovak Republic has become the organizer of the 8th European Table Tennis Championship. We welcome you as representatives of European police-athletes in Bratislava, the capital of the Slovak Republic.
I am pleased that we are consolidating the tradition of meeting police officers from all European countries. We deepen our work contacts, including the measurement of friendly forces on sports grounds. The importance of this tradition is very difficult to replace, especially in the present, busy times, when people meet more in the virtual world than in the real world.
The aim of this event is not only to the following championships, but also to show the public and especially young people the importance of movement, its need. Enjoy sports and the importance of strengthening physical strength, will and overcoming. We should not forget that, and it is this event that is an opportunity to realize these values. I think it is right to express our appreciation for the hard work of the organizer, which gives us the opportunity to experience these pleasant moments full of tension, sport and team spirit and overall atmosphere today. I would like to wish all competitors a lot of success and quality results, organizers and referees good course of the 8th European Table Tennis Championship and other guests a pleasant stay and a lot of personal impressions from their visit to Bratislava.
